dragons and chickens illustration

It’s been a really fun exercise to these narrative illustrations lately. And what’s better than dragons? When it comes to painting this way, I’m still learning and trying different things a lot. I’ve planned to do an environment focused painting next, something inspired by the legendary Eyvind Eearle. :)

This was all done digitally in photoshop from the sketch to final illustration.

On other news, I just saw the The Silver Linings Playbook based on a novel by Matthew Quick. The movie was fine, but it didn’t live up to the novel and I felt disappointed in the end. Good try, good try anyways. I’m reading “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” by Stephen Chbosky now, and I have really high expectations of the movie, it’s got Hermione Gringer in it after all!
