Hey, Silver! Slightly off-topic kind of a comment. I mentioned you in reblog on tmblr, but not sure if you get any kind of notification. So I will post it here to be sure you’ve read it.
Recently I was shooting women look book of a clothes brand my friends do. I thought that their style will suit your tastes, both of you actually, also Ramon’s and Vika’s tastes as well probably. I thought you might like at least browse their tumblr and clothes they do. I love that they use unusual fabrics (they had to move from Moscow to Istanbul to be close to the variety of awesome fabrics). And the shapes and curves of their clothes is something.
Don’t count me as an advertising bot, but I like to share things I really love and believe in. And what I also thought is that I would die if I have a chance to shoot you and Kaija as models in Shinobi clothes. Oh, those artistic fantasies…. they do kill me sometimes:)))

These are fantastic. Kaija just got a high pitch shriek out of sheer happiness! Aswell did I! It’s like they are made for us!

I am glad you liked them. That is what I thought myself. That these cloths are just for you both! I know that my friends deal with foreign clients a lot, so if you do love it, it is not a problem to order via internet. On Tuesday I will shoot men collection, so I will tweet more from the spot!

It is complicated. I think that I’ve got to know Vika a bit while reading her Russian blog kinda 4 years ago I think. Then she mentioned your beautiful works. So I googled. Got crazily inspired and started following your uploads for quite a while. Also I understood that I’ve seen your works somewhere on the net and liked the style. So it all clicked together:) Then I thought it will be ok to write a comment and here I am.

Oh yezzzz, Germany waited for me for too long :D I must re-visit!

I’m looking forward for that photoshoot – I’m excited to see the new mens collection, for I’m definitely going to get cozy with those clothes. Some of our friends call us Sith Lords for the peculiar clothes we use, and that’s just the way I like it.

Vika if anyone is super inspiring, and we’ve been collegues and great friends with Ramon for a few years now. They’re both the sweetest of sweethearts, such a powercouple full of talent and great positive energy. And they’re even getting us readers and what not!

Which part of Germany did you visit last time?

With Shinobi you will be Ninja Sith Lords, which is even better haha. Mike and Julia are fans of that same kind of peculiarity I suppose. Julia is also a calligrapher.

Actually this conversation made me think that recently (last couple of years) I meet lovers who are such an inspiration. That is crazy! Maybe it is because my own relationship is such a source of inspiration for me. I don’t know. You and Kaija, Ramon and Vika, Mike and Julia… it is all about real respect and real support. And love of course. *i need to grab some tea and think on*

Btw, I digged into the blog and understood you have the same problem as me. With buying books quicker then reading them. High five!
Also I was thinking if I would love Scalzi, now it is on my reading list.

I visited mostly Northern Germany, Schleswig-Holstein part of it. And Hamburg. For 6 times or something. Also been to Hurricane festival once:)

Powercouples are the best, I’m glad to hear that your relationship inspires and pushes you positively, I don’t think theres anything better in life than that, and I totally understand what you mean by real respect and real support. It’s something that’s almost impossible to describe to someone unless they experience it themselves. It’s almost like unconditional love, that’s never taken for granted. Hmm, yes. Some tea would go well with these thoughts.

Buying books is the worst kind of addiction to us, I’m glad kindle let’s me keep them stores on the cloud or we’d have a serious lack of space here.

Scalzi was real good, I had a blast with Old Man’s War. I was just talking about it with my friend yesterday, and he spoiled a little what happens in the next books. I can’t get my hands on it too.

I’ve only seen Frankfurt and Berlin from Germany. I’m always surprised how big this country is actually, and how much there is to see. I tend to forget that only about 150 years ago it was still divided in to many small independent kingdoms with their own distinct cultures, that still have roots today.

Now if only I could find the time to see EVERYTHING.

Yes yes yes, agree with what you say about powercouples. It is like this feeling that you can’t do a lot. And if you fail, it is also okey, you will not be judged, you will be supported.

I remembered that there was a comment I did’t answer you. First, it is about new book of Austin Kleon. It is really good. More practical, I would say. Also the same funny honest and clear.

Another thing is that you wrote you are originally from Finland. Which is great, I’ve been there many times, my father built a lake house there instead of a country house near Moscow. So I quite like going there. For me it is kind of rehab, where I reload myself. I don’t know how you feel about your country. My friend from Helsinki always jokes that he would love to get away from the wilderness at the same time as I dream to go deep there to think.

To see everything and also to read everything, right?:) Addiction as it is.

Also, you can imagine how big Russia is and how much it is to see here. I haven’t been in many places here though.

It’s a nice feeling that, isn’t it? :) I’ll have to ponder more about this, maybe one day I’ll put more of it in to words and make a blog post out of it. It’s a complicated and deeply personal matter, so it will be a great challenge if anything!

We got the new Austin Kleon book, but due to our sickening need to acquire too many books, we haven’t got to it yet. I look forward to it though, I like a little light inspiration every now and then!

Even though I can totally believe why you and your father would love Finnish lake houses, I think I can relate to your friends feelings; After living through so many snow covered winters, and seeing the same lake side view, summer after summer for twenty-so years, most people tend to want something different! It’s still a beautiful place, and while I sure feel nostalgic about it sometimes, I’m happy to explore other parts of the world too!

The size and scope of Russia amazes me; the amount of different cultures, places and history all tied together is paralyzing; it’s too large to even put in to words. I love reading about the history of them all.

Ah, trying to catch the tails of thoughts in one’s head to make them a blog post is such a hard thing. I push myself to write a blog post for ages already.

Where did you live there? My father chose the desolated lake Koitere, not much people there. But it is such a relief after 20 mlns of Moscow citizens, believe me:) To be at a place where you don’t hear anything.

I lived in the city of Turku and then in Helsinki, but took trips outside the cities often, and once you go outside a city in Finland – it all looks the same! Lakes, forests, and islands as far as your eye can see!

I believe you, it’s quite a contrast. :)
