This is exciting, after one year of learning, preparing and working, reworking and more working, me and Kaija are finally ready to publish the Run Freak Run comic online, releasing a page every Monday. For the sake of the release, there’s a backlog of 27 pages: a full chapter and a beginning of the second one.

Run Freak Run is an episodic long form web comic created during our evenings and weekends after work. We’re both professional concept artists in the videogames industry, we live in Germany (don’t speak any of the language though, sorry Germans.) and we love to take on challenging, new projects.

Besides releasing Run Freak Run comic, we also want to take this opportunity to blog about making comics, production skills, learning marketing, learning SEO and all things interesting to us from fashion to art and wine. :)

We’re going to start with pretty detailed breakdown of how we create a page of Run Freak Run all the way from writing it, through drawing, inking and finally publishing it online. If you’re any bit of interested in making your own web comic, or are already making one – this could be for you.
